Cancellation Policy

Payments, Deposits & Cancellations Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid and written email confirmation has been received from Milestone Hire Co. Full payment is required no later than 7 days prior to the event date. All invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking, forfeiture of the event date, and/or cancellation of services. Deposits & Refunds A $50 administration fee applies to cancellations made more than 7 days after the original booking date and will be deducted from any refundable payment. Costs associated with custom requests, personalised items, special-order products, design services, or materials purchased specifically for a client's booking are non-refundable and will be payable in addition to any applicable administration fees, cancellation fees, or other amounts owing. Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the event date may be eligible for a refund, less any applicable administration fees and non-refundable custom request costs. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event date will incur the full booking amount and are not eligible for a refund. No refunds will be provided where installation is refused, delayed, restricted, or cancelled due to the client failing to obtain the necessary venue approvals, permits, permissions, or council authorisations. Refunds may not be available where services have already been prepared, allocated, commenced, or where cancellation is due to circumstances outside of Milestone Hire Co's reasonable control. Delivery Timeframes Milestone Hire Co will make every reasonable effort to deliver, install, collect, and pack down hire items at the agreed time. However, due to factors including traffic conditions, venue access requirements, previous installations, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances, a delivery and collection buffer of up to two (2) hours before or after the scheduled time may apply. By proceeding with a booking, clients acknowledge and accept this delivery timeframe flexibility. Milestone Hire Co will communicate any significant delays as soon as reasonably practicable.
